Sunday Bach

For those who love him and can’t get enough of him, Bach is a daily presence, and every day is his birthday: “He shouldn’t be called Bach (‘stream’), but Meer (‘sea’),” Beethoven enthused. Every Sunday for the past ten years on France Musique, Corinne Schneider has been celebrating him in her own way, and tonight’s program reflects the show’s signature elements: a cantata performed in its entirety, organ music, jazz, and contemporary music featuring a world premiere. It’s a pleasure to celebrate the opening of Season 10 of Sunday Bach on stage with the audience.
