The Wandering Shadows by François Couperin

A “four-hand score” blending the music of François Couperin, the undisputed master of French Baroque, performed on piano by virtuoso Iddo Bar-Shaï, with shadows crafted live by Philippe Beau, a master of light.

The two artists worked together for several weeks under the guidance of Swiss director Chine Curchod, who created a scenography that beautifully unites these two art forms, exploring new possibilities for the concert experience.

It is a perfect synergy between the two performers, who had never collaborated before this project, conceived by the CCR Les Dominicains de Haute-Alsace. The performance is accessible to all — seasoned music lovers, curious newcomers, and especially children from the age of 10, offering a fresh way to experience music.
